Eurocamp Near Italy’s Major Cities
Camping Fabulous Village – Culture Meets Camping

Location: Rome
This Eurocamp is ideal for families wishing to explore Rome. Located just outside the gorgeous Italian city, Camping Village Fabulous provides holiday makers with a peaceful retreat combining nature and entertainment in one “fabulous” location. The unique Italian Eurocamp offers a large pool area, sports facilities, stunning restaurants and more.
The campsite is perfect for families wanting to combine a cultural city trip with a relaxing camping experience.

Eurocamp Sites with Lakeside Fun in Italy
Bella Italia – Action-Packed & Family-Friendly

Location: Lake Garda
Renowned as one of the most famous Italian Eurocamps, Bella Italia is a 5* Holiday Resort situated on Lake Garda. Not only can you access the watersports on the lake, but the campsite also has an incredible waterpark consisting of five pools, slides, splash pads and more.
This campsite is best for families who are seeking lively lakeside fun with plenty of action.
Bella Italia can get quite crowded around the pool area and is known to be a “sun bed war” Eurocamp site.
Camping Village Eden – Calm & Scenic by the Lake

Location: Lake Garda
For families who prefer relaxation and the calmer campsites Camping village Eden offers a tranquil setting on Lake Garda. It has a much smaller and calmer waterpark than the others I’ve mentioned so far but still has enough to keep families entertained. The Eurocamp Village has 300 pitches and has its own private beach on the lake. The views are stunning and this little bit of paradise is a great option for families with younger children.
Cisano San Vito – Two Campsites, One Amazing Stay

Location: Lake Garda
2 campsites for the price of one, Cisano & san vito are two separate sites that have joined via an underpass to unite a ton of facilities. There’s discos, pools, three restaurants, sports facilities and is nicely located on Lake garda.
This Eurocamp is great for families looking for a central location on Lake Garda with ample amenities.
Butterfly Camping Village – Perfect for Toddlers

Location: Lake Garda
This Toddler friendly Eurocamp village is a relaxing lake garda holiday park. Cars are optional and you can get a train to the beautiful Verona, or explore the local lake beach and towns on foot. Camping Butterfly is a calmer campsite and is definitely better for younger children than older children and is great for avoiding the hustle and bustle of larger alternatives like Bella Italia.

Beachside Eurocamps on the Adriatic Coast
Union Lido – Huge & Feature-Packed

Location: Adriatic Coast
This Eurocamp is one of the widest known thanks to its size. One of the largest campsites in Italy Union lido offers families a unique experience with its top-tier waterpark, swimming pools and slides. The campsite provides a variety of restaurants, shops and extensive facilities. I’ve heard great things about the maintenance and cleanliness of this site and cannot wait to explore it myself.
This Eurocamp is best for families looking to thrill seek with all age children, but it’s definitely one to keep the teenager occupied easily on.
Pra’ Delle Torri – Teen & Sport Friendly

Location: Adriatic Coast
Another teen favourite is Pra Delle Torri, I first visited in 2011 and since then this campsite has got even better – it was literally already one of the best back then. It offers families multiple massive swimming areas and waterparks, a golf course, hotel, camping emplacements as well as luxurious mobile homes. It’s designed with children in mind and the parks and sports facilities for children are excellent whilst the bars and restaurants are a welcome break for the adults.
This Eurocamp is perfect for families wishing for a luxurious beach holiday with plenty of on-site activities.
Marina di Venezia – Venice & Beach in One Trip

Location: Near Venice
With direct beach access Marina Di Venezia is perfect for chilling and exploring. So close to Venice this Eurocamp means mixing up cultural experiences with aqua parks, restaurants, entertainment and more. The luscious pine forest makes the area absolutely gorgeous but be prepared for a few Mozzies.
This eurocamp is perfect for families who love pools, activities, entertainment and nature all under one roof.
Ca’Savio – Natural, Fun & Culturally Rich

Location: Near Venice
Situated near Venice, Ca’Savio provides direct beach access, two swimming pool areas, and a beautiful pine tree environment. It is a very large Eurocamp and is perfect for kids and adults alike. There are restaurants, shops, delicious Italian pizzas and on the beach there’s even some great nightlife. It’s a great base for exploring the Venetian Lagoon and nearby islands but be prepared for mosquitos. I got bitten a whole lot last time I was there.
This Eurocamp is best for holiday makers wanting a beach holiday with opportunities for cultural excursions.
Villaggio San Francesco – Budget-Friendly Luxury

Location: Adriatic Coast
My first ever Italian Eurocamp. I lived on this campsite for a few months back in 2011. Therefore I couldn’t create an Italian shortlist without including this beauty. San Francesco is a great lively resort located just next to Pra delle torri. It offers more budget prices and still a whole range of pools and facilities. There’s a fitness centre, 9 pools, beach access and loads of sports facilities. It;’s great for active holidays and lounging, so whatever your family style, it has got you covered.

Inland & Countryside Eurocamps (Great for Sightseeing)
Trasimeno Glamping Resort – Peaceful & Unique

Location: Umbria
An alternative to the usual Italian favourites is this glamping resort situated in Umbria. The rural, tranquil, natural setting is right up our street. With direct access to Trasimeno Lake this Eurocamp offers a lively, yet toddler friendly experience.
This campsite is best for families seeking calmer, alternative Italian holidays.
Hu Norcenni Girasole– Tuscan Hillside Escape

Location: Tuscany
We are so excited to try Norcenni Girasole out this year. This beautiful 5* Eurocamp, located in the Tuscan hills, looks like a dream. The incredible scenery, location and campsite facilities absolutely hooked us in. The campsite is large and features multiple eateries, pools and facilities. It is inland so not very close to a beach, which may be a deal breaker for some. However, it’s in a perfect location for exploring beautiful Italian towns and cities like Florence and Pisa.
The campsite seems perfect for all ages, but it is hilly and large, so younger children may need pushchairs and/or to use the campsites land train.

FAQs About Eurocamp Italy Holidays
Which Italian Eurocamp Should You Pick?
Like I said, all families have different preferences and different budgets for their Eurocamp Holiday. If you are looking for something exciting and action packed then Union Lido or Bella Italia might be right up your street. If you prefer something a little calmer you may be more drawn to Camping Village Eden, Butterfly or Trasimeno Glamping Resort. We like a good mix of the two which is why we have settled on Hu Norcenni Girasole for this year’s holiday.
When is the best time to Eurocamp in Italy?
Italy is such a good location for the weather but July and August can be extremely hot. We are staying in June to avoid the mid-Summer temperatures and as most of the highs eason facilities in Italy start opening at this you should have a great holiday, with most facilities open, less of the school holiday crowds and cheaper prices.
